7 & 8/365

I missed Yesterday so here is 2 for today.

Madi snuggled with Grampa on his visit today. She used to be scared of any man with facial hair so today was a real win. I could see how happy it made my dad that Madiln gave him a hug and snuggled.

Today was also a good day for cleaning sorting and donating old stuff. Its the third time in 2 months. I'm feeling really good downsizing what we don't need. I also did about 4 loads of laundry WHEW! Madilyn "helped" by unloading the basket.

I WISH that I would have had my camera ready many times today. The above image doesn't describe today at all. In all honestly its from yesterday but its all I had for right now. Sigh. Long school day. I will do better tomorrow.

We have had a couple of really good nights and days. Sleeping well and all smiles. The sun streaming through the window only added to our joy as we folded laundry and cleaned the house.

The owl ornament is by far my favorite ornament for this year. It stood out amongst the pack : a blazer ball, VW ball, peacock (pretty awesome itself), an elf with small springs for arms and legs (Which Madi broke) and a few others. We always collect alot of ornaments. We are trying to replace all the glass balls that I bought at goodwill when I was single.

This year has kinda been the year of the owl for me. I did a big poster at school with one, my friend Michelle decorated her new baby's room with them, I started to see them everywhere, and POOF. I was in love. ;) Although I'm starting to fall for peacocks too now. I'm So fickle. Heehee.

We totally stripped the Christmas out of the living room and kitchen the past few days. The tree is hanging out on the front deck still but other than that I have my living room Back. Hallelujah!! We re-arranged the furniture a bit and MAN is it awesome! Madi can reach all of her toys because we put the bookshelf on its side.
